- Lead operations at a high-volume, overseeing 50 individuals
- Hands-on leader with a strong background in manufacturing in preferred
- Oversee daily production activities to meet output, quality, and efficiency targets
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance, quality, and logistics teams to optimize operations
- Manage labor planning, shift transitions, and inventory levels
- Support union relations and help resolve grievances constructively
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement and quality initiatives
- Provide accurate production reporting and analysis using internal systems
- Train, motivate, and develop team members to meet operational goals
- Collaborate with sales and order desk to align production with customer demand
- Maintain strong communication across all levels of the organization
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role
- College education or equivalent; technical background preferred
- Strong organizational, planning, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in production software and reporting tools
- Experience working in a unionized environment
- Familiarity with ISO standards and lean manufacturing principles
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Able to work occasional Saturday when required.
