Overview

You’ll manage the construction team as well as your own projects for KFC US, ensuring the successful execution of new builds, remodels, and infrastructure projects that expand brand access and elevate the guest experience. Your mission will be to shape KFC’s future restaurant footprint by driving innovation and process optimization to deliver projects on-time, on-budget, and with superior quality. What You’ll Be Serving Up

Leading construction execution and team management

Oversee multiple construction projects, including new builds, scrapes, offsets, and remodels, by managing vendors, contractors, and internal partners throughout the end-to-end process. Ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and meet brand quality standards. Directly manage and develop one Construction Manager and one Construction Coordinator, providing guidance, coaching, and clear expectations to drive team success. Support the implementation of best practices in construction execution across equity and franchise projects. Supporting budget and financial planning

Manage assigned project budgets by preparing estimates, tracking expenditures, and ensuring accurate forecasting. Partner with leadership to uphold cost discipline and identify opportunities for efficiency across construction projects. Support vendor contract management and resource allocation to optimize cost effectiveness. Driving collaboration and process improvements

Strengthen relationships with municipalities, vendors, and franchisees to streamline approvals and ensure smooth project execution. Partner with internal teams (Design, Development, and Finance) to support prototypes and ensure construction outcomes align with brand standards. Contribute to process improvements and standardized practices that enhance consistency and project outcomes. Leading and supporting your team

Manage, mentor, and inspire your direct reports — one Construction Manager and one Construction Coordinator — to deliver high-quality outcomes and grow their careers. Foster a collaborative culture that emphasizes accountability, partnership, and continuous improvement. What You Bring to the Table

Education:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year university, preferably in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or Real Estate.

Experience:

5+ years of relevant experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or real estate. Prior experience in multi-unit restaurant / retail remodeling and ground-up development preferred.

Skills:

Strong project management skills, including ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. Effective communicator with solid negotiation and stakeholder management abilities. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data and insights to support business decisions. Solid understanding of construction practices, vendor management, and cost control. People leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
