Job Description Hiring for a mid-level Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Engineer to support projects ranging from small studies to multi-million dollar turn-key supply. A successful candidate must be team-oriented, organized, able to communicate effectively at all levels, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
50-60% of role involves electrical specifications for equipment selection (not CAD work, but detailing design specifications)
40-50% involves PLC programming (primarily Allen Bradley PLCs, but experience with other PLCs is also acceptable)
Skills
PLC programming, Allen Bradley PLC, HMI programming, FactoryTalk, Rockwell RSLogix, instrumentation controls, control system design, equipment specification
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited program with at least 1 year of engineering experience
Interest in electronics, instrumentation, control and data acquisition systems, PLCs, VFDs, motion control, sensors, actuators, PID control, communication networks
Willingness to travel up to 30%, possibly internationally
Work Schedule
In-office Monday to Friday
Monday-Thursday: 9-hour days; Friday: 4-hour day
Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $48.00 - $57.00/hr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation, EAP, PTO, and more.
Workplace Fully onsite in Tullahoma, TN.
