Fayetteville, Arkansas Position Overview

As part of the Water Design Center's Structural Group, the

Structural Engineer

will assist in developing

Structural Designs

for various Water Business Line projects, primarily focusing on water and wastewater treatment plants and related infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed structural drawings and specifications for water and wastewater treatment facilities, chemical facilities, administration buildings, and site retaining walls. Prepare design calculations and coordinate with other disciplines, regional offices, and regulatory agencies. Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and quality assurance processes. Support project reporting and documentation efforts. Contribute to continuing education and team development. Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in civil or structural engineering from an ABET-accredited program. At least 1 year of experience in structural design engineering. Knowledge of concrete, steel, masonry design, and relevant codes. Proficiency in MS Office; experience with AutoCAD, Revit, or Microstation is preferred. Ability to obtain PE license within 24 months; EIT certification is required. Additional Requirements

Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Basic understanding of multi-disciplinary practices related to infrastructure projects. Willingness to travel for site assessments and construction support. About Water Design Center
