Our engineers have extensive experience in structural engineering across various sectors such as education, commercial, religious, healthcare, sports & entertainment, hospitality, retail, and federal projects. You would manage the overall structural team in engineering and drafting tasks for various projects. You would provide structural design support directly or indirectly and serve as the main point of coordination within the team and with other disciplines such as architecture and MEP. Additionally, you would oversee project management during the Construction Administration Phase, including review of shop drawings, RFIs, site visits, and OAC meetings. Your Responsibilities
Participate in coordination meetings with other disciplines, design reviews, and client meetings for scope clarification. Coordinate design and documentation to complete construction documents on schedule and within budget. Develop and maintain structural specifications, select procedures, determine materials and sizes, and perform necessary calculations. Assist with shop drawing reviews, RFIs, change proposals, and incorporate changes into documents. Communicate effectively with team members and prepare engineering reports, memos, and emails. Conduct site observations and author reports during construction. Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of progressive structural engineering experience in building design using steel, concrete, or masonry. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis) or Architectural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred. Strong experience in foundation design, including shallow and deep systems. Proficiency in Revit Structure 2019 or newer. Expertise in structural analysis software like Risa Floor, Risa 3D, Etabs. Ability to verify computer-aided design with hand calculations and sketches. Proficiency in steel and concrete design, masonry, and related codes. Excellent communication skills. Experience with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office Suite. Additional Details
