Wizehire We’re hiring a driven Construction Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial solar energy system installations. You’ll manage entire construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is an effective problem-solver, motivating leader, and has a passion for building. Compensation:
$70,000 - $90,000 DOE Responsibilities: Produce regular progress reports for stakeholders Obtain necessary licenses and permits, ensuring compliance with codes Establish organizational processes for tools, equipment, and vehicles Negotiate contracts with vendors, contractors, and subcontractors Manage general contractors and construction workers Ensure safety standards are followed and report safety issues Lead, manage, and hold team members accountable Define project scope, resources, and labor needs Coordinate installation schedules and timelines Supervise crew leads and subcontractors Requisition materials and services within budget Ensure permits and licenses are up to date Communicate billing milestones to accounting Maintain project management tools and software Provide technical support and training to crew members Conduct project handoff and commissioning reports Qualifications: Strong communication, leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or relevant field Experience with construction/project management software OSHA 30 training completed Deep understanding of construction industry, codes, permits, and methods Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus Minimum one year experience as a construction project manager Knowledge of solar energy systems and roofing is desirable Proficiency in Microsoft Office Supervisory, budgeting, and planning experience About the Company:
