Overview

Located in Hollister, CA, the Production Supervisor oversees and supervises the implementation of manufacturing activities in one or more production areas, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals as well as ensuring cost objectives are met. Working cross functionally within the manufacturing operation, the role will prioritize production schedules based on product introductions, equipment efficiency, and material supplies. The position may also make budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures, direct and indirect labor, along with developing schedules, and proposing staffing requirements. Responsibilities

Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, workflow, and resource allocation. Train associates on standard manufacturing processes while ensuring all Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC) and FBS initiatives are met and sustained. Implements lean conversion initiatives in accordance with the FBS toolkit, facilitates communication and coordination of activities between the manufacturing process and support functions. Assist with planning and managing costs for the value stream, including labor, production, maintenance, shop supplies, tooling, and fixtures. Manage associates to include interviewing, hiring, counseling, disciplining, performance appraisals, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Serves as an FBS Champion spearheading FBS efforts in the building such as: Standard Work events, Kanban, PSP, Visual, and Daily Management. Assign duties and examine work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to procedures and work instructions. Clearly communicates goal expectations, status, and gaps, as well as countermeasures by use of Visual and Daily Management. Participate in the development and coordination training programs to ensure cross-training of personnel within the multi-manufacturing cell environment. Excellent leadership, communication, and instruction skills. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

BS Degree in relevant field, with 5 years supervisory and/or management experience OR a High School Diploma/GED & 8 years supervisory experience in operations. U.S. Citizenship required per ITAR regulations. Strong written, oral, and presentation skills with multi-level audiences. Strong Project Management Skills Strong leadership and decision-making skills Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word etc.) Familiarity with various technical manufacturing processes. Bonus or Equity

This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package. Pay Range

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 107,040 - 198,720. Is this role subject to ITAR?

The essential duties of this position require adherence to U.S. Government export control regulations. Candidates must be U.S. Persons or be prepared to collaborate with the company in securing the necessary government export authorizations.
