What This Role Will Accomplish: Provides leadership and management of employees to ensure effective selection, retention, development, and performance management. Once a month one-on-ones with production employees Lead with culture and values and effective change management techniques. Leads and coordinates operation processes. Collaborates with leadership in the development and implementation of organization policies, practices, procedures, and attainment of operating goals. Analyzes performance metrics and summarizes operational data. Assigns, or delegates responsibility for, specified work or functional activities and disseminates policies and objectives to supervisors/staff. Daily Schedule Re-assign work based on daily challenges (call-outs, large orders, etc.) Coordinates with other support departments such as Lab, Sales, Finance, Quality, R&D to ensure successful production operations. Oversees Production, Coordinates Production Control/Planning, Determines labor needs to meet production goals. 30% to 40% time in office and 60% to 70% time on the floor with the team
Requirements
Production and Shipping Supervisor Role Requirements: 4-year degree in Business, Logistics, or Operations Management (Six Sigma designation a plus, MBA a plus) 5 years of relevant operations experience (production, warehousing, logistics) 2 + years of operations management experience Customer service orientation Strong interpersonal skills and relationship-building ability Critical thinking, sound judgement and ability to handle confidential information. Experience with lean principles and practice Experience with ERP systems Ability to interpret financial data and set production goals

Salary Description
$75,000 to $85,000 depending on experience
