Buffalo, NY - Be part of an exciting journey as we build our new facility in the Western New York Science & Technology Advanced Manufacturing Park in Alabama, NY! This role offers a hybrid work opportunity, blending remote work flexibility with on-site presence during the construction phase. Salary Range:
$70,000 - 97,000 Compensation may vary depending on qualifications, skills, experience, and location. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with engineers and vendors in Korea to understand current processes. Implement processes into the new plant, including qualification, installation, and validation of equipment. Assist with equipment specification, acquisition, and installation. Support manufacturing operations and data system integrity. Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost goals. Conduct time studies and optimize assembly processes. Define, set up, and optimize job orders and tooling. Interface with colleagues, customers, and vendors to improve production techniques. Create and maintain SOPs, technical specifications, and drawings. Train staff on processes, procedures, and documentation. Maintain attendance and work collaboratively in a team environment. Report initially to the Project Manager, then to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager. Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; industry experience considered in lieu of degree. Minimum 5 years in manufacturing, machining, or assembly environments. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 6S; proficiency in Excel, Word, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and ERP systems. Strong communication skills; Korean language skills are a benefit. Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; willingness to travel approximately 25%, reducing to less than 10% after setup. Physical Demands & Work Environment:
Exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and noise; ability to lift up to 40 pounds; frequent computer use; vision requirements. Benefits & Culture:
