Overview

STS Line Maintenance is hiring Lead A&P Mechanics in Miami, Florida. This position provides technical support and on-the-job training to A&P mechanics, ensuring high-quality line maintenance service for our customers. The Lead A&P Mechanics support daily maintenance operations and report to the Shift Supervisor. Responsibilities

Perform and assist approved work by the supervisors within the scheduled shift Ensure completeness of all assigned work documents and records Provide leadership and technical support to mechanics Provide on-the-job training during the work shift to ensure proper qualification standards are met and maintained Maintain cleanliness of maintenance areas at all times Ensure a “clean as you go” job ethic is adhered to Ensure that all maintenance areas meet good housekeeping standards Ensure that all tools (personal and company owned) are removed from the aircraft, engines, appliances, and components Maintain positive tool control accountability and report lost/found tools Follow safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe working environment Research information and material for scheduled aircraft work Input necessary data into maintenance tracking software systems Assist in the clean-up of maintenance work areas Comply with MEL/CDL/NEF Program procedures Perform Shift Turnover as required by internal/external policies and procedures Audit and monitor aircraft records (logbook pages, work cards, non-routines, engineering documents) generated by RON and Line Maintenance Ensure accuracy and completeness of all assigned work documents and records Maintain familiarity with training requirements and ensure training is current Perform other duties as assigned Adhere to approved published procedures unless a deviation is authorized Qualifications

FAA-certificated mechanic with Airframe and Powerplant ratings Four (4) years of experience performing maintenance on A320 series or large similar aircraft (maintenance checks, component maintenance, engine changes, landing gear replacement, structural repairs, flight control rigging, etc.) When directed by management, taxi and run-up qualified on all aircraft types Ability to plan, organize, and administer workloads to subordinates Rate of Pay

Starting pay rate between $41.50 and $44 per hour, determined by previous experience and formal training Benefits

Full Time: PTO, Health Insurance, 401K. No Benefits for Part Time. Authorization
