Projects Grid Modernization: Reliable and secure communication for grid operations, expanding capabilities with remote monitoring, automation, and control. Networks: Building redundant, high-capacity data networks for business and operational needs. Renewable Energy: Connecting renewable assets like offshore wind, solar PV, hydro, and battery storage to the grid. Rural Broadband: Providing high-speed internet to rural communities to support education and economic growth. Private LTE: Developing private carrier-grade networks for utilities to monitor and manage the grid. Fiber: Expanding fiber optic infrastructure for high-bandwidth data transmission. Electric Vehicles: Supporting the transition to electric transportation with industry leaders and utilities. Job Responsibilities Design electrical systems from concept through detailed design. Research and compile project data. Apply electrical engineering principles, codes, and practices. Perform field inspections and measurements. Create project deliverables including network diagrams and specifications. Utilize tools like GIS, 3D scanning, and model-based design. Review drawings and client presentations. Engage with clients and develop professional relationships. Conduct design quality reviews. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program, with 3+ years of experience, consulting preferred. Or Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering Tech, with Fundamentals of Engineering exam passed, 3+ years experience. Or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, with 2+ years experience. Strong knowledge of engineering techniques and procedures. Excellent communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and analysis tools. Attention to detail, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Engineers in Training (EIT) certification preferred. This job posting remains open for at least 72 hours and until filled.
