Structural Engineer with Active Secret Clearance

to work in a fast-paced team environment alongside analysts (including load and dynamics, thermal, aero, and materials testing) design engineers, and program engineering managers to realize our technologies. Location:

Chandler, AZ 85286 (Onsite) Position:

Structural Engineer with Active Secret Clearance Pay Rate:

$42/hr. – $53.43/hr. on W2 (DOE) Duration:

6 months or longer Schedule:

Yes, 10% of the Time Responsibilities

Support launch vehicle programs by performing structural analysis, including hand calculations and finite element analysis (FEA). Present results to management and customers, documenting detailed analysis reports. Identify and troubleshoot structural issues during design and manufacturing. Communicate project status to managers and test leads. Organize and update daily tasks. Collaborate with team engineers to address structural issues and maintain schedules. Design and develop testing methods for metallic and composite materials. Define structural design changes for high-temperature applications. Basic Qualifications

US Citizenship is required. Active Secret Security Clearance is required. Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 10-14 years of experience. Knowledge of software such as Femap, NASTRAN, NASGRO, Abaqus, MathCAD, NX, Teamcenter. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to use fundamental structural methods. Experience in designing/analyzing Ground Support Equipment (GSE). Preferred Qualifications

Master's or PhD in STEM with 8-10 years of experience. Knowledge of high-temperature materials and testing for hypersonic applications. Knowledge of composite structural analysis, including carbon and ceramic materials. Familiarity with fatigue, fracture mechanics, and fracture control plans. About Our Client
