Overview
Telecommunications Network Engineer – First, Second, and Third Shift. Requires Active Top Secret Security Clearance. Responsibilities
Support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) LAN by providing telecom engineering and operational support for current and new technologies to the Local Area Network (LAN). Manage and ensure the technical integrity of the system baseline over time, updating it as changes are imposed during the lifecycle from development through deployment, operations, and maintenance. Minimum Qualifications
Two (2) years of network operations experience. Higher level education or military service can be used in lieu of two (2) years of network operations experience. Experience in telecommunications network design and management. Experience in analysis and design of voice networks, LAN and WAN data networks, wireless networks, and/or network management systems to support voice and data services. Experience in performing and providing for the development, engineering, interfacing, integration, and testing of complex hardware/software systems. Certification Requirements
IA Level: IAT-II — one of the following: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH and one of the following: CCSE NGX, CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, SCNA, CCSE NGX Plus NG with AI, CCMSE NG with AI, CSMSE NG with AI Plus VSX, NSA, ESE Security Clearance
