basis alongside a team of experienced automation professionals who design innovative and cost-effective solutions for clients across a wide variety of sectors, including oil & gas, refining, power, life-science and chemical. About the Role As the on-site
DeltaV Control Systems Engineer , this role designs and develops Emerson DeltaV control systems by implementing control logic, configuring process graphics, and supporting customer acceptance reviews. It involves producing control system documentation, integrating continuous and batch designs, and performing factory and site acceptance testing. The engineer conducts training, manages installations and startups, executes upgrades and maintenance, and supports sales teams as a technical expert. Additional duties include identifying customer opportunities, participating in emergency call rotations, traveling within the regional territory, and continually learning new automation technologies while upholding all safety and compliance standards. Qualifications Degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering, or comparable professional experience in the field Hands‑on expertise with Emerson DeltaV DCS systems Background working with Emerson DeltaV Batch, SIS, and MES applications Skilled in using Microsoft Windows and Server operating platforms Experienced in preparing documentation and functional specifications for DeltaV process control projects within the Life Sciences sector Ability to diagnose and resolve issues methodically and promptly Strong verbal and written communication capabilities, with confidence interacting with both internal teams and clients Understanding of automation systems and distributed control technologies, including instrumentation, PLCs, and HMIs Competent in reading and interpreting P&ID diagrams, electrical schematics, network layouts, and process control narratives Seniority level
