Great Day Improvements The Field Supervisor (FS) is responsible for supervising the field operations teams (GDI and subcontractors). This includes reviewing project schedules, training new installers and/or subcontractors, monitoring work progress and expenses, field measures, permits, helping crews start/finish jobs, completing service calls, and meeting with customers to review difficult or complicated jobs.
Responsibilities
Maintain branch quality standards
Measure jobs
Check jobs for potential installation problems prior to job start
Review concerns with Installation Supervisor and Regional Operations Manager
Review contract with customer
Diagnose and/or perform service work
Install jobs as needed
Employee and subcontractor training
Ensure that crews know details of job to be installed and have loaded proper materials and equipment on the truck
Oversee performance of Lead Installers and Apprentices and train them on proper procedures
Obtain building permits as required
Review schedule with Installation Supervisor
Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications Applicant must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction field operations, with a focus on sunrooms, doors, and windows. Must understand all product lines and know how to diagnose and correct service problems. Good problem-solving skills are required. Must be competent in the use of technology and be able to function proficiently. Must be well organized and have the ability to think on your feet. Must be proactive in your approach to managing customer/employee/subcontractor interactions, company expectations, and be able to work within the organization to deliver win-win solutions for both our customers and our employees/subcontractors.

Customer service surveys, top score of 90% or better
Training
Apprentice to Installer: 3 months from hire
Installer to Lead Installer: 9 months from hire
Subcontractor for installation: 3 months from hire
