We’re looking for a Facilities Integration Engineer to join our team. You will have a background in HVAC systems and facilities engineering to ensure seamless integration of critical infrastructure with our manufacturing and test stand operations. You will oversee the integration, operation and optimization of manufacturing utility systems.
You will work onsite at our Devens, MA office reporting into the Facilities Manager.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with manufacturing, process, and facilities engineers to define project solutions to support new or modified production lines, equipment placement, and testing operations
Lead integration of power, water, HVAC, and compressed air with manufacturing equipment and test stands
Ensure HVAC system capacity, airflow, temperature/humidity control, and pressurization meet manufacturing, equipment and personnel needs
Conduct heat load calculations, airflow analysis, and ventilation design to support evolving manufacturing layouts and equipment changes
Support design and commissioning of utilities and infrastructure to meet evolving production and testing requirements
Manage facilities-related aspects of equipment moves, installations, and decommissioning
Monitor facility performance and reliability issues affecting manufacturing, guide root cause analysis and corrective actions and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Maintain facility documentation, including as-built layouts, utility drawings and integration plans
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field
5+ years of experience in cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment
Experience with utility systems such as: HVAC, electrical distribution, water systems, and their interface with manufacturing/process equipment
Experience with building design software such as: Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
Experience with plant layout, equipment installation, or capital projects in a production setting
Experience working with third-party engineering firms to produce stamped construction drawings
Knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including Air Handling Units (AHUs), chillers, rooftop units, and ventilation systems
Working knowledge of ASHRAE standards, building codes, and energy efficiency best practices
Read and interpret engineering drawings, facility schematics, and P&IDs
Familiarity with HVAC controls and Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS), experience with heating/cooling load software such as Tran Trac700, Carrier HAP, or Heatwise
LEED certification knowledge of sustainable HVAC design practices
Compensation And Benefits Base salary range: $135,000—$158,000 USD. Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, education or training and experience.
