Job Title: Geotechnical Project Engineer - Design Focused (Remote)
Location: Fully Remote (U.S.-based candidates)

Overview A dynamic and growing engineering consultancy is seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer to support design-driven geotechnical projects across a variety of sectors. This fully remote role is ideal for a technically strong engineer who enjoys working independently and collaboratively on complex design challenges. The position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact infrastructure and development projects nationwide.
Responsibilities
Perform geotechnical design and analysis for foundations, retaining structures, slope stability, and ground improvement.
Develop geotechnical reports, design calculations, and construction recommendations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, civil, and environmental engineers.
Review subsurface investigation data and interpret geotechnical parameters for design.
Support project managers with technical input and coordination across project phases.
Maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
4+ years of geotechnical engineering experience with a strong design portfolio.
PE license or EIT working toward licensure.
Proficiency in geotechnical software (e.g., LPILE, Slope/W, PLAXIS, gINT).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated and comfortable working in a remote environment.
