Sr. PM
to lead utility-scale project development efforts within our
Retail Division , focusing on renewable energy asset optimization. This senior-level role will split responsibilities between
preconstruction planning
and
supporting permitting coordination
for electrical infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in utility-scale electrical systems, permitting processes, and cross-functional project leadership. What you\'ll work on
Preconstruction (50%) Lead preconstruction efforts for utility-scale renewable energy projects, including solar, battery storage, and hybrid systems. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and risk assessments during early-stage development. Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) teams to ensure design feasibility and cost-effectiveness. Review and validate technical drawings, scope documents, and bid packages. Support internal stakeholders in evaluating site feasibility, grid interconnection, and constructability. Collaborate with business development and asset management teams to align project goals with commercial strategy. Serve as a technical liaison to permitting coordinators, providing guidance on electrical design, code compliance, and utility standards. Assist in navigating local, state, and federal permitting processes for electrical infrastructure. Review permit applications and ensure alignment with project specifications and regulatory requirements. Facilitate communication between permitting authorities, engineering teams, and project managers. Track permitting milestones and proactively identify potential delays or issues. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy projects, with at least 3 years in a preconstruction or permitting-focused role. Strong understanding of electrical systems, interconnection processes, and permitting regulations. Proven ability to manage complex projects across multiple stakeholders and jurisdictions. Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. PMP or similar project management certification is a plus. Base pay range
$115,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr Additional compensation types
