Civil Engineer - Multidisciplinary (Water & Transportation) Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is hiring a Civil Engineer to work with both the transportation and water teams in providing quality planning, design and technical assistance to Discipline Managers across both water and transportation in delivering projects within budgetary and time constraints. The hybrid position will be located in either Hernando, MS, Oxford, MS or Memphis, TN. Responsibilities

Performs engineering analysis and design (2D and 3D) for a variety of projects that may include: Roadways, intersections and related infrastructure, including new construction and rehabilitation. Water distribution systems and sanitary sewer collection system Hydraulic modeling Pump station modeling and analysis Water and wastewater treatment Assist with preparation of construction plans, specifications, and contract documents for contracting and bidding of construction projects. Conducts assessment and evaluation of existing system conditions and develops recommended remedial measures. Performs construction phase engineering, including periodic on-site reviews, in collaboration with Construction Services team. Maintains and documents written and verbal communications with clients throughout the development and completion of a project. Attends meetings on project management. Conducts project status review with project manager and team members, checking accuracy of work completed, and monitors timeliness of project completion. Assists managers in assuring quality control procedures are performed. Maintains responsibility for adherence to applicable codes. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering 3+ years of related engineering and design experience EIT certification, if not yet obtained the PE license Certifications applicable to civil engineering Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to the practice of engineering and the implementation of public works infrastructure projects. Proficient in design using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Advanced knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project is desired. Why Join Our Team
