Buildings and Systems Engineering Specialist - UNION

Overview This position troubleshoots, calibrates, and adjusts plant floor devices to maintain optimal performance of plant floor equipment. It sorts calls and breakdowns and expedites their completion. It provides information to maintenance mechanics on how to complete required repairs to resolve breakdowns. It helps solve the daily problems inherent in keeping the conveyors and automation systems in good working order.
Responsibilities
Addresses inquiries and needs from internal customers
Reacts promptly to facility alarms and emergency situations
Identifies and resolves issues as they occur
Conducts routine maintenance to prevent potential problems
Requirements
Must be able to work Monday - Friday 3pm-11pm
Must be able to reside within the job location or willing to relocate on own
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification from an international institution - preferred
Experience in programming, troubleshooting, basic network knowledge, motor control theory, and operations, including fundamental AC and DC electrical troubleshooting - preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Capable of reading and interpreting electrical schematics and basic diagrams.
Compensation and Benefits Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The starting pay for this position is
$23.00
per hour. For union-represented postings, wage rates and ranges and benefit offerings are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions.
Hired applicants are eligible for weekly pay, extensive training, 401(K), defined-benefit pension plan, medical-dental and vision after waiting and/or probation period, $0 healthcare premium, paid vacation, paid sick and family and medical leave time as required by law, paid holidays, discounted employee stock purchase program.
