Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive quality patient care in an accurate and timely manner according to established patient standards and practice.

Assist in patient assessment and preparation for medical procedures.

Maintain accurate documentation and manage patient care equipment.

Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses and other healthcare staff.

Work independently or cooperatively with other personnel in a fast‑paced environment and under stressful conditions.

Qualifications

Current EMT certification.

Current Phlebotomy license.

Current American Heart Association BLS certification.

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI) certification within 30 days of hire.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to workload and to follow directions with minimal supervision.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.

Preferred: Knowledge of university and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms.
