Position : Senior Powerplant Engineer Company : Reputable Client (via Insight Global) Location : Erlanger, KY Type : Full-Time Relocation : Up to $5K Base pay range : $90,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Requirements

5+ years’ experience Airline, Maintenance Repair & Overhaul (MRO), and/or Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) industries. FAA Airframe and Powerplant license. Proficiency in technical analysis and working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations or certification requirements. Ability to execute assigned tasks appropriately, including EOs, troubleshooting assistance, manual oversight, vendor interactions and communications. Excellent communication skills; ability to multi-task. Onsite work in Erlanger, KY required. Nice to Have

The Sr. Powerplant Engineer reports to the Manager, Powerplant Engineering and is responsible for engineering data, instructions, documents, and technical support that ensures safety, airworthiness, and reliability of Atlas Air aircraft within ATA chapters: electrical power, fire protection, wings, windshields, engine, pneumatic, engine systems, fuel, ignition, exhaust, oil, etc. Responsibilities

Project development, management, and implementation for repairs, modifications, or alterations. Technical point of contact on assigned subject matter for troubleshooting assistance. Issue instructions and documents to support operations and return aircraft to service safely and on time. Review OEM Service Bulletins and regulatory documents (ADs, NPRMs) and initiate required engineering documentation. Support investigations for safety, regulatory, and reliability matters. Monitor fleet performance and initiate corrective actions to maintain fleet health. Establish component repair and build specifications to enhance dispatch reliability within budgetary and regulatory requirements. Administer the Engine Condition Monitoring Program. Review and update powerplant maintenance programs and documentation. Knowledge of turbofan/turbine engine operations, failure analysis, and root cause engineering.
