Space Simulation Technician , reporting to the
Senior Manager of Avionics Manufacturing and Testing
to support the development of systems required for the design and build of artificial-gravity human-rated space stations. Our initial crewed space habitat will be Haven-1, scheduled to launch in August 2025. Our team is

position located in
Long Beach . Responsibilities: Perform thermal vacuum, thermal cycling, vibration, and shock testing for development, qualification, and acceptance tests. Support bench top test setups and environment-specific test support systems. Develop and modify testing procedures to meet test requirements. Review test plans, requirements, SOWs, fixture design, etc. Install instrumentation on articles to test and log data for Tvac, vibe, thermal, and shock tests. Maintain test lab and equipment across vibe, thermal, and shock testing. Support data acquisition, logging, and management. Develop best practices for test lab use and space simulation conduct. Train personnel on space simulation operation and procedures. Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years of space simulation experience. High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred Skills & Experience: Experience in aerospace facilities. EMI testing experience. Troubleshooting across multiple test environments. Knowledge of space planning procedures. Proficiency with computer applications and software. Experience creating RFPs, POs, and work orders in ERP systems. Teamwork and independent judgment skills. Effective communication skills. Problem-solving skills. Ability to read schematics. Comfort working under stress and flexible to changing priorities. Additional Requirements: Up to 20% travel. Willingness to work evenings/weekends. Lift up to 25 lbs. Certifications as appropriate. Pay Ranges: Technician I: $20-$30/hr Technician II: $28-$40/hr Technician III: $33-$45/hr Salary varies based on experience and market.
