This role ensures high-quality, evidence-based patient care by developing and evaluating clinical education programs. It involves designing initiatives to promote professional growth, supporting hospital policies, and collaborating with leadership and staff to foster continuous learning. The educator ensures clinical competencies meet standards, organizational goals, and patient needs. Job Requirements

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in nursing or equivalent: Required Master’s Degree: Preferred 3 years' recent experience in acute care: Preferred 1 year in clinical education/staff development: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Current RN license in practice state: Required CPR/BLS certification: Required ACLS, PALS, NRP, and other certifications: Preferred Facility-specific Licenses: Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required Essential Functions

Develops and delivers education to enhance clinical skills, creates educational materials, and facilitates orientation and ongoing training. Assesses and documents clinical competencies, ensuring performance aligns with standards and regulations. Ensures compliance with regulations and standards, serving as a clinical practice expert. Collaborates with leadership to identify training needs and mentors staff, fostering a supportive learning environment. Participates in quality improvement, policy development, and strategic planning. Organizational Requirements
