This position is based at the Cottonwood Branch but requires 5 weeks of full-time paid training (includes hotel, mileage reimbursement, meal per diem) at the Corporate Office in Glendale, AZ. Position Summary
Enhances the quality of life for our members by embracing the organization’s mission and core values. This frontline, member-facing position provides an industry-leading member service experience. It offers consultative conversations and sound financial advice to members through the development and expansion of new and existing relationships. This universal sales position supports opening consumer and business new accounts, account maintenance, and consumer personal and home equity loan applications and funding. Essential Functions & Additional Responsibilities
60% - Sales and Service: Meet or exceed sales and production objectives by handling member requests, identifying needs, and making recommendations. Responsible for loan application processing and funding of consumer loans including personal, credit cards, auto, and home equity. Solicit ancillary products with loans. Accurately completes loan and title documents. Participate in outbound calling campaigns as needed. 25% - New Account and Member Maintenance: Open, maintain, and close a wide variety of membership accounts (savings, checking, certificates, retirement). Open specialty accounts (Business, Trust, Estate). Provide proactive follow-up and assist members with services such as online banking, direct deposit, automatic transfers, and account maintenance. Support digital channels (phone, email) with professional communication. Encourage adoption of digital services. Complete teller transactions as needed. 10% - Resource and Branch Support: Provide subject matter expertise to the branch team and lead in the absence of a manager to de-escalate member concerns. Exercise good judgment for overrides within permission. Ensure compliance and security protocols are followed. Maintain knowledge of policies and procedures. Complete auditing, cash ordering, vault responsibilities, and teller transactions as needed. 5% - Performs other duties as assigned. Education
A high school diploma or G.E.D. Experience
A minimum of 3-5 years of lending experience in a financial institution required. Ability to work shifts between Monday – Saturday 8am to 6pm. NMLS required. Bilingual preferred. Skills & Competencies
