TEXAS SURGICAL CENTER is seeking a motivated Materials Manager to join our team. TEXAS SURGICAL CENTER is a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. Responsibilities
Coordinate procurement of all supplies for a busy multispecialty acute surgery center, excluding food and drugs. Lead project activities including receiving, stocking, inventory, and quality control. Demonstrate outstanding customer service and effective teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Provide ongoing support to facilities for processes and data management. Participate as an active member of the procurement system Data Management Team. Qualifications and Requirements
One to two years minimum receiving and inventory experience in a healthcare environment; hospital clerical experience or medical terminology preferred. Strong customer service background. Strong math and counting skills; computer experience required (Microsoft Office, Outlook, ENVI, Word and Excel preferred). Able to deal tactfully with public and staff; prioritize responsibilities and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Ability to stand, bend, twist, squat and lift heavy items above head/shoulders; work in a clean and sterile environment. Strong technology skills and interest; excellent time management and communication skills. Work collaboratively and respectfully with all to promote teamwork and a positive, productive environment. Ability to recognize and prioritize situations and projects as necessary; excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information; outstanding customer service skills. Participate as an active and collaborative member of the procurement system Data Management Team. Must have skills to operate office equipment required to fulfill job duties; medical terminology and computer experience are beneficial. Bilingual preferred. Job Details
