Responsibilities
Establish/strengthen global supplier relationships, enabling Ford to better align with and influence supplier technology roadmaps.
Develop purchasing strategies with Ford Buyers and Semiconductor Suppliers to ensure security of supply at best cost.
Execute and manage the balancing of ICE, BEV, and HEV powertrains along with re‑market testing the business to sanity check competition.
Lead issuing RFQs to source next generation FNV3.X modules and align with suppliers on global supply strategy.
Collaborate with PD to source FNV3.X meeting technical and quality requirements to allow delivery of state‑of‑the‑art smart connected vehicles with a safe localization launch strategy.
Engage control module supplier partners at senior level to develop strong partnerships, hold regular Business reviews with suppliers.
Manage Supplier emerging significant issues (supply issues, Quality, Cost, etc.) and drive internal risk mitigation.
Apply category management skill set to optimize the commodity and sourcing strategy.
Lead for commodity knowledge and market intelligence including cost, bill of process, etc.
Lead TVM activities (NA and global lead/coordination) including objective setting and delivery.
Lead Program sourcing activities.
Lead sourcing strategy development and execution.
Lead strategic initiatives including Gap Week, Cost Strategy Week, QCDR/QBR Quarterly Meetings.
Lead cross‑functional interface (PD/Finance/STA).
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering, MBA preferred.
Strong business and commercial acumen and excellent written and verbal abilities.
Strong leadership skills and ability to work in teams.
Strong interpersonal skills including relationship building and working cross‑functionally.
Strong analytical skills (sourcing evaluations, business case studies).
Strong negotiation skills (creating leverage in both offensive and defensive situations).
Cost analytics (understand commodity cost drivers, part cost breakdowns, Gap‑to‑OCE).
Strategic mindset and the ability to understand current challenges facing the automotive industry.
Strong working knowledge of Purchasing policies, procedures, and systems.
Fully competent with Microsoft Office Tools.
An ability to travel on company business as required.

Salary & Benefits This position is a range of salary grades SG5‑SG8.
