Join the Lacey KPFF team as a motivated and skilled Senior Project Manager who demonstrates initiative and accountability to successfully pursue, manage, coordinate and complete projects. We are accepting applications to fill positions immediately. Applications should include a resume and cover letter. Our Project Managers are an essential part of our design teams. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership, time management, and communication skills to pursue, develop and execute projects. This position provides opportunities to work on a variety of fish passage projects for both public agencies and private owners which include: WSDOT Stream Design Stream Assessments Hydrologic & Hydraulic Analysis Scour analysis & Scour Countermeasure Design Streambed Stability Design Large Woody Material Stability Analysis Hydraulic Design Reports Permit Applications & Permitting Support Plans, Technical Specifications & Cost Estimates FEMA no-rise analysis and certification Project Managers are accountable for project coordination, quality control, and ensuring projects are completed effectively to meet client expectations. General project tasks include: Writing or reviewing project proposals or Statements of Qualifications Management and/or design of projects Primary interface with clients on project coordination and design Supervising, directing, and mentoring design engineers and drafters Ensuring technical content accuracy and quality control/assurance Establishing project fees and schedules Tracking project budget and timeline to ensure contractual and profitability goals Providing construction administration support Communicating with design consultants, municipalities, contractors, and clients Attending site visits Qualifications include: P.E. License in Washington Knowledge of codes, regulations, and standards applicable to fish passage and stream restoration projects in Washington Permitting experience with environmental regulators such as WDFW and USACE Ability to manage multiple active projects concurrently Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaborative skills Competency, accountability, and commitment to delivering quality work Compensation The base salary ranges from $116,000 to $125,000, depending on experience, education, and skills. KPFF also offers performance-based bonuses. Additional details will be provided during the interview process.
