DoD Clearance: Secret This position is for an Operations Program Manager (OPM) supporting the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC). The OPM is responsible for supporting the overall manufacturing operations for a large program or suite of programs within a product line portfolio with annual revenue between $10M and $50M. They are expected to oversee and coordinate all operational aspects of ongoing programs and serves as a liaison between program management, project team, and factory management. The OPM will make strategic decisions for the direction of the program related to financial performance and manufacturing plans. What You Will Do: Total program life cycle execution from bid/proposal through development/EDM, transition to deliver, production, and depot/sustainment Program planning, capacity analysis, schedule management, resource planning, and manufacturing execution Lead cost/process improvement initiatives Coordinate material management activities with Supply Chain Cost Account Manager (CAM), Estimate at Complete (EAC) development, analysis, and presentation, understanding and use of Earned Value Management (EVM), and risk and opportunity management Interface with both internal and external customers at Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), Gates, EACs, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and customer visits/tours Qualifications You Must Have: Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience Typically requires: Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of prior relevant experience OR Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience Experience leading in an operations, manufacturing, program, cross-functional, or equivalent environment Experience generating EACs, providing cost variance analysis, and managing risk and opportunities Effective communicator, able to develop relationships and work with personnel at all organizational levels, functional stakeholders, and internal/external customers Demonstrated initiative, perseverance, and creativity in problem solving, strategic planning, project and deadline administration, and utilization of business system resources Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to use data and information to convey a concise message to team members and key team members Flexibility and agility to work in an undefined development environment where processes and procedures may not always exist Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Ability to manipulate and process reports and work artifacts with large amount of data The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
