Plant Controller (Manager) @ High-Growth Consumer Products Firm

Our client is a Global Consumer Products and Branding Company that has opened a new role in their Accounting team. This role reports to the Controller and works directly with department heads, plant operations, Marketing, Operators, and the Head of the Business. This individual will specialize in cost analysis and cost management. We are seeking an experienced Cost Accounting Manager to oversee inventory and cost analysis, standard costing, and financial reporting for our manufacturing operations. This role works closely with operations, supply chain, and procurement leadership to support accurate cost tracking and inventory valuation while ensuring SOX compliance. Responsibilities

Manage cost and inventory accounting during monthly, quarterly, and annual close Analyze and reconcile inventory, COGS, and standard costs Review manufacturing variances and partner with operations to improve efficiency Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls Oversee plant capital budgeting and provide financial guidance Lead and coach the cost accounting team Travel regularly between two other office plants Qualifications

Bachelor’s in Accounting (CPA preferred) 8+ years in cost accounting, ideally in manufacturing Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Excel Expertise in standard costing, inventory valuation, and financial close Details
