Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Scientist / Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in data analysis, visualization, and machine learning, combined with a solid understanding of business contexts such as marketing, finance, accounting, or economics. This role requires the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources. Design and build dashboards and reports using BI tools (Sisense, Tableau, Power BI). Develop and apply statistical models, predictive analytics, and machine learning algorithms. Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and track business performance. Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for business leaders. Support cross-functional teams with data-driven insights for marketing, financial planning, and operational improvements. Maintain and optimize SQL queries, ETL processes, and data pipelines. Document methodologies, maintain reproducible analysis, and ensure data accuracy. Promote a culture of quality in all deliverables and processes. Participate in and perform code reviews. Participate in technical feature reviews. Work with our quality assurance automation team to develop new test cases and assist in improving overall quality and delivery methodologies. Qualifications
2–4 years of professional experience in data science, analytics, or related fields. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or related discipline (Master’s degree preferred). Good verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and/or R. Experience with BI and visualization tools (Sisense, Tableau, Power BI). Strong understanding of statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and predictive analytics. Familiarity with machine learning techniques and frameworks. Background or coursework in marketing, finance, accounting, or economics. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical results to non-technical stakeholders. Detail-oriented, self-driven, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Good written and verbal interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills. Ability to accurately estimate workload for a given task. Comfortable working in an Agile environment. Positive, can-do attitude with a focus on the success of the team over the individual. Preferred Skills
Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of financial modeling or marketing analytics. Exposure to advanced ML/AI applications.
