Pratt & Whitney, Line Maintenance Services in Dallas, Texas, is looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor (M3). The supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision of a team of mechanics and technicians performing maintenance, repair, and overhaul tasks on jet engines on the first shift. Responsibilities include ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with FAA, OEM, and company regulations. The role involves managing work schedules, resources, quality control, personnel issues, and significant financial and administrative oversight. The position is based at the Dallas TX MRO facility and reports to the LMS Operations Team Leader. The person in this role will supervise FAA safety-sensitive employees. Typical working hours are 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday – Friday. Training may be required. Performance management: Coaching, conducting performance reviews, and addressing employee relations issues as needed. Manage workflow: Coordinate and monitor maintenance projects to meet deadlines and maintain efficient workflow. Quality assurance: Adhere to Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Engine Shop Manual procedures; comply with PW LMS Quality Procedures, FAA/EASA Part 145 requirements, and site quality manuals. Conduct inspections to ensure airworthiness and quality. Technical guidance: Provide hands-on technical support for complex repair procedures. Record-keeping: Ensure maintenance records, logbooks, and work packages are accurately documented for compliance and traceability. Labor management: Review and approve technician hours, monitor labor costs for billing and budgeting. Time and attendance: Track attendance, approve time-off requests, and manage overtime within policy. Expense approvals: Review and approve technician expense reports in line with policy. Resource allocation: Optimize manpower, equipment, and shop space to support schedules. Parts and tooling: Coordinate parts availability and ensure shop equipment and tooling are properly maintained. Safety: Enforce safety regulations, PPE usage, and maintain a clean, safe work environment; participate in incident investigations and corrective actions. Supervision: Lead, train, and mentor a team of aircraft mechanics and engine technicians; assign tasks based on qualifications; monitor operations metrics and take actions to meet customer expectations. Qualifications You Must Have

Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in Military, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Aerospace, or Aftermarket; OR Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant experience; OR Associate’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience; OR High School diploma or military/technical training and 9+ years of relevant experience. Qualifications We Prefer

Degree in STEM, Engineering, or Business/Supply Chain. 2+ years of Operations Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience with GTF, V2500, PW4000 and international field work; line maintenance, engine changes, module removal/installation, LRU removals/installations. Aftermarket aerospace and MRO experience. A&P license. Familiarity with shop practices, quality standards, and lean/CI tools. Experience with Microsoft Office, SAP, and MRP systems. Strong communication across all management levels, shop personnel, and customers. Role Type

Onsite: Employees in Onsite roles work primarily at the assigned site, including production and maintenance staff essential to engine development. The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD.
