Job Summary As a Demand Planner, you will be part of a high‑performing global supply chain team, partnering closely with Operations, Sales, and Product Line Management to ensure we meet customer needs while driving efficiency across the business. This hybrid role is based in Richardson, Texas.
Responsibilities
Lead global demand planning activities and serve as the focal point of communication with BU and Operations leaders.
Design, coordinate, and publish reports on forecast, inventory, and operations aligned to current business requirements.
Manage escalations through to completion with timely communication to stakeholders.
Drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process in collaboration with PLM, Sales, and Operations.
Partner with Operations to ensure capacity planning supports the master production schedule.
Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration to establish and maintain standardized operating procedures.
Manage inventory levels across assigned regions and business units, optimizing supply chain performance with sales, operations, and PLM.
Support New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives with Engineering, Sales, and PLM to enable speed‑to‑market strategies.
Measure, support, and develop local entity planners for continuous improvement.
Manage system parameters throughout the entire product lifecycle.
Work with Procurement and vendors to oversee contract manufacturing products where applicable.
Balance supply and capacity to ensure optimal customer service and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., APICS/CPIM) preferred.
5+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or related functions within a global or multi‑regional environment.
Strong knowledge of S&OP processes, inventory management, and capacity planning.
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) and advanced Excel/reporting tools.
Demonstrated ability to interpret data, develop forecasts, and present findings to senior leadership.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) initiatives a plus.
Willingness to travel as needed to support business operations.
