We are looking for a highly experienced strategy and operations professional to drive transformation across Customer Success at Proofpoint. The Strategy & Business Analysis Manager will support the global Head of Customer Success with complex data analysis to inform foundational strategic decisions, analyze performance of newly launched CS programs, and help roll out major process changes across the organization. This senior individual contributor role requires deep GTM, CS, and Services operations knowledge, advanced analytics skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct management responsibilities. The role reports to the Senior Director, Strategy & Operations, Customer Office. Your Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis: Conduct complex analysis to inform key decisions and long-term strategy for Customer Success; deliver insights on customer segmentation, churn risk and drivers, and adoption analytics; model the impact of new investments on churn reduction and revenue expansion; create and facilitate executive-level presentations; perform ad-hoc deep dives into key drivers of CS performance and surface actionable insights for leadership. Planning: Lead analysis to support annual planning, quarterly business reviews, and Board materials; design segmentation and optimize territory assignments; develop headcount and capacity models; support design of compensation plans. Business Operations: Run standing business cadences (QBRs, monthly metrics reviews); define, monitor, and refine KPIs and operational metrics; partner with BI to design self-serve Power BI dashboards; ensure data integrity across reporting systems (Salesforce, Gainsight, BI tools). What You Bring To The Team: Bachelor’s degree in Business/Management or related; MBA preferred; 8+ years in strategy, business analysis, or operations; 5+ years in SaaS with GTM/CS/Sales Ops; 5+ years in customer-focused analysis (churn, expansion, health/risk, adoption analytics); proficiency in Excel and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau); experience with CRM/CS software (Salesforce, Gainsight); strong independent work style, strategic thinking, analytical and communication skills; excellent project management.
