The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Cloud Security Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you\'ll work closely with customers to implement, automate, and manage AWS solutions to protect customer assets, enable customer security teams to operate more effectively, and ensure customers don’t accept unnecessary risk. Responsibilities

Solve technical problems independently Collaborate with others to define and implement solutions Escalate risks with options, impact, and recommended solutions Be an established expert in at least 1 technology domain Implement, automate, and manage scalable and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery About The Team

3+ years of experience in cloud architecture and implementation Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience 3+ years of experience in IT security, compliance, or risk management 3+ years experience in technology automation, implementation, integration, and/or deployment Preferred Qualifications

AW S experience preferred, with proficiency in a wide range of AWS services (e.g. EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation) AWS Professional level certifications (e.g. Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred Experience with automation and scripting (e.g. Terraform, Python) Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g. HIPAA, GDPR) Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Work experience in industries such as financial services, automotive, telecommunications, healthcare, life sciences, energy, media & entertainment, or manufacturing Hands-on technical expertise in building security capabilities in code, deploying infrastructure as code, and implementing enterprise security solutions (e.g. WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, SIEM) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
