Senior Manager-Commodity Management and Sourcing, Professional Services — Carrier Carrier Global Corporation, a global leader in intelligent climate and energy solutions, is committed to creating solutions that matter for people and the planet for generations to come. The Senior Manager will develop and drive a team to implement a Global sourcing strategy for Professional Services in support of Carrier’s long-term goals, including improving efficiency, reducing risk, and increasing value. The Professional Services category includes Consulting, Finance, Banking, Legal, Travel, Fleet, Marketing, Human Resources, Contingent Labor, Engineering and EH&S Services. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders at all levels to execute complex sourcing programs and develop solid global programs for cost reduction and efficiency. This individual will provide end-to-end category leadership including strategy development, creating consulting programs, maintaining key relationships within the business, and managing key supplier relationships. Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and category oversight to include sourcing execution, negotiations, contract implementation and performance against established targets. Manage supplier relationships, communicate changes to category strategy, execute joint collaborative initiatives, and monitor supplier contract negotiations. Support supplier diversity and other supply chain initiatives. Develop a preferred supplier program with a goal of continuous improvement. Operational and spend analysis, development and execution of annual sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, supplier performance management and operational support. Build and maintain relationships across the organization to identify sourcing needs and develop optimal approaches and solutions. Identify business demand requirements and partner with Business Units to deliver annual value improvements and drive competitive advantage. Responsible for overall relationships with multiple strategic accounts across a given category. Lead the sourcing process from RFQ to contract signature. Identify, develop and direct the implementation of supply chain goals and category strategies based on subject matter expertise and market dynamics. Escalate issues that may impact the supply chain and effectively manage issues. Strong project management capabilities to support multiple initiatives, programs and spend tracking. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree 5+ years of experience in commodity management or supplier negotiations 5+ years of experience in management and leadership to lead cross-department project teams Preferred Qualifications

MBA or advanced degree Ability to lead a global team to achieve results through leadership and influence Consultancy and Services Procurement experience Ability to exercise independent business judgment to drive strategy and results Ability to excel in a dynamic environment Ability to lead analysis and resolution of complex problems with tangible and intangible variables Strong communication skills and business acumen Carrier is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
