Overview
Physical Therapist – Outpatient Clinic (Geriatric Focus) in Toms River, NJ. This full-time role is on-site with shifts on weekdays (Monday–Friday). The position focuses on serving the geriatric population in an outpatient setting and aims to improve patients’ mobility, independence, and quality of life. Responsibilities
Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for geriatric patients Provide therapy focused on mobility, pain reduction, and functional independence Support post-surgical recovery, fall prevention, and long-term wellness goals Collaborate with the PT team, aides, and administrative staff for coordinated care Document treatment in EMR according to Medicare/insurance guidelines Communicate effectively with physicians, caregivers, and family members Qualifications
Current New Jersey Physical Therapist License (required) Degree from an accredited PT program (DPT or MPT) CPR Certification Strong interpersonal and communication skills Experience with outpatient orthopedic and geriatric populations preferred Benefits
