About the role:

The Peripheral Interventions (PI) team at Boston Scientific seeks high-energy, driven, and passionate individuals to join our team. Our products diagnose and treat conditions across the vascular, gastrointestinal, pulmonary and urinary systems. We invest in cancer, embolization and vascular treatments and in new product pipelines and research.

We are opening a new part-time Clinical Representative position within our Interventional Oncology and Embolization business (IO&E). The role requires strong clinical aptitude, the ability to excel in a team environment, and the ability to build strong relationships with physicians and staff. The Part-time Clinical Representative will provide case support for our Cryoablation product franchise within a defined geographic territory, accounts, and in support of the local sales team.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary resource for clinical support in case coverage, basic troubleshooting, product usage and customer training.

Attend cases in customer accounts and advise physicians on the safe and effective use of Cryoablation products.

Provide supplemental training and in-services to support product launches and high-touch specialty products.

Assist in executing a proactive regional plan involving clinical, sales, and service support to improve market share and service quality.

Respond to customer needs and complaints by developing creative and feasible solutions in collaboration with related personnel.

Manage consignment inventory tracking, semiannual audits, expired product and returns.

Ensure timely collection and reporting of medical documentation related to procedural device operation.

Fully support the Quality Policy and maintain compliance with quality requirements.

This is a Salaried, Part-Time position with a target of less than 20 hours per week.

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent healthcare technical certification with work experience

Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology

Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs, drive to multiple accounts within a geography and carry medical device equipment in a vehicle

Preferred qualifications

Minimum of 2+ years of clinical work experience

Experience in Computed Tomography (CT), Radiology or Interventional Radiology

Foundational knowledge of medical imaging, especially CT

Strong problem solving and ability to be coached and directed by teammates

The anticipated annual base amount for this full-time position will be $45,000 to $55,000, plus variable compensation under the Sales Incentive Plan and the value of benefits offered at Boston Scientific. Actual compensation will reflect experience, education, licensure and certifications, and other business needs.
