Job Responsibilities
Conduct detailed packaging studies and propose design solutions. Support cross-functional packaging meetings and geometric analyses efficiently. Verify media routing, propose routing paths, and clipping solutions. Analyze and suggest common solutions to minimize part numbers and maximize part sharing across brands. Perform pre-study packaging analyses, present results, and recommend next steps. Contribute to improving packaging verification processes, methods, and tools. Participate in geometry verification plans (virtual and physical builds, DMU structure) to enhance CAD quality and maturity. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years of product development experience, preferably in class 8 heavy-duty truck development. Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing principles and applications. Complete vehicle and/or chassis knowledge is preferred. Extensive experience with PTC Creo Parametric & Creo View. Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly. Product Data Management experience; experience with Volvo PDM system KOLA is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additional Information
