Field Service Controls Engineer

Job description:

Join our elite team of engineers dedicated to designing and implementing cutting-edge software solutions for highly complex automation systems. Our team for Controls and Automation offers expert engineering of software design for our complex and highly specialized systems. You'll be responsible for the execution of the detailed controls activities correctly and accurately in the shortest possible time both in our plant and customer's plant.

Responsibilities

PLC, CNC, Robot, HMI programming, testing, onsite commissioning

Programming of Siemens (must), Mitsubishi, Rockwell PLC controllers.

Programming of Siemens, Fanuc, Bosch CNC controllers

Programming of Fanuc, ABB, Kuka, Comau and Mitsubishi Robots.

Application of Material handling, assembly line, Machining Line Automation logic.

Automation system testing and commissioning

Controller safety programming, Virtual commissioning testing

Work abroad and local sites

Specialized task monitoring, review problem solving, task planning, team planning, work process review

Cross functional interactions working with other departments for project deliverables

Self-checking the work for errors before presenting it for reviews

Quick escalation of any hurdle to the Leader or Functional Head

Minimum Requirements

5 - 10 years' experience in similar industry

Advanced knowledge of software programming PLC, HMI, CNC, Robot programming, testing of systems at shop floor and software commissioning onsite

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering

Able to travel Internationally

Able to work any shift

Experience in automobile Industries Standard, material handling, SPM machines, etc.

Fluent in English speaking and writing

Material handling application knowledge

Experience in Automobile Industries Standard, material handling, SPM machines, etc.

(Siemens (must), Mitsubishi, Rockwell) programming knowledge is essential

100% travel required. 80% local and 20% international.

Preferred Requirements

Master's degree in Electronics
