Location: USA - West Branch, 160 Fawcett Drive Division: Solutions Job Posting Title: Team Leader - Material Handler (Day Shift) • Time Type: Full Time POSITION SUMMARY The Team Lead has general responsibility for coordinating and overseeing all operational activities assigned daily. Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, the Operations Lead is responsible for oversight of the associates dedicated to the warehousing, receiving, and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in performance, safety, and quality and to comply with all corporate and site-specific policies. Responsibilities

Training Responsibilities Mentor and train new and existing associates in specific distribution activities to help achieve established customer demands Train new and existing associates on current Standard Operating Procedures, including shipping, receiving, picking, and quality control Assist in forklift operation and certification for new and existing associates Shipping/Receiving Responsibilities Oversee and coordinate unloading of inbound shipments, orderly stacking of product, and the picking and staging of outbound shipments to achieve high productivity; verify inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers and ensure counts are correct Efficiently and accurately load orders according to doors and trailers All shipping/receiving/picking functions are processed as defined by Standard Operating Procedures Research discrepancies in the shipping and receiving process Customer Service Communicate professionally in appearance and communications; may interact with customers telephonically, electronically, or in person Prepare required activity reports accurately and efficiently for site management Quality Control Responsibilities Use appropriate documentation to ensure products and/or orders are received or shipped correctly and accurately picked Verify products and/or orders meet quality standards; report damages or discrepancies; stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products Follow all quality procedures; report inconsistencies to the Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager; participate in quality meetings Safety, Housekeeping, and Compliance Comply with relevant ISO standards; execute safety protocols; maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area and assist in security of the warehouse; comply with SOPs and safety rules Participate in safety meetings Labor Management Direct warehouse work team to achieve objectives; assist with productivity tracking and payroll hours Assist in maintaining appropriate staffing levels and establishing work schedules; ensure correct implementation and assignment of jobs Ensure associates handle products according to quality procedures and guidelines Responsibility and Authority Participate in department meetings; identify and address non-conformities and problems; propose solutions via designated channels Report non-conformities to the Quality Department Equipment Operation Operate equipment such as sit-down/stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, sweepers, scissor lifts, cherry pickers, Aisle Master, pallet jacks Ensure upkeep and report equipment problems; inspect and perform minor maintenance daily; operate equipment safely and efficiently Maintain active forklift certification Maintenance Perform or assist in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned Other Duties Perform other clerical and administrative tasks as guided by site management; may include answering phones, scheduling, greeting visitors, filing, and record keeping Willing to work evenings and weekends as needed; overtime as dictated by business Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications

Education and/or Experience High school diploma or GED 1 year experience in a logistics/distribution environment Able to operate MHE Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures; seasonal temperature range varies Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Forklift training certification Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Basic computer skills; RF scanners; WMS familiarity English language proficiency (reading, writing, verbal) Basic to intermediate mathematical skills for quantity verification and inventory tasks Strong attention to detail; ability to work with minimal supervision; effective communication across levels Adaptability to change and a fast-paced environment DSV is an equal employment opportunity employer.
