SUPERINTENDENT for Retail and Industrial Projects in the DFW Area
Scott Humphrey has partnered with a large and reputable general contractor to assist in finding a Superintendent for their headquarters in the DFW Area. As a Superintendent, you will be an integral part of a team that oversees the construction of Retail Industrial new construction; project quality control, subcontractor coordination, daily logs/project documentation, safety, and inspections.
Salary: $100,000.00–$140,000.00 per year. 3 days ago
Responsibilities
Supervise all on-site construction activities from start to finish.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and quality control benchmarks.
Conduct daily site inspections and maintain detailed field reports.
Communicate regularly with project managers, clients, and design teams.
Resolve on-site issues and adapt plans as needed to maintain progress.
Ensure proper documentation including RFIs, change orders, and punch lists.
Travel to various job sites across the country as required.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience as a superintendent in retail and/or industrial construction in General contracting set-up.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Willingness to travel extensively and work on-site for extended periods.
OSHA 30 certification preferred
