A dynamic opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to serve students in a K-12 school setting in Sacramento, CA. This contract position spans the current school year, providing the chance to impact the speech and language development of pediatric and school-aged populations.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students exhibiting speech and language disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
Facilitate therapy sessions focused on achieving specific speech and language objectives
Document and track progress with precision to guide ongoing care
Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated services
Involve families by educating and engaging them throughout the therapy process
Qualifications And Experience
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in California
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations strongly desired
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Licensure Requirements
Active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology in California
Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology
