A K-12 school in Monterey, CA, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join on a contract basis for the current school year. This role involves providing vital speech and language services to students, supporting their communication development in a dynamic educational environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students with speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Deliver targeted therapy sessions addressing speech and language objectives Monitor and document student progress with precision and attention to detail Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure integrated care Engage and educate families to involve them actively in the therapy process Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred Experience working with pediatric and/or school-aged populations is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team Additional Requirements Must hold an active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology for the state of assignment Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology is required This position offers the opportunity to work with an experienced advisory team dedicated to supporting Speech-Language Pathologists locally and providing ongoing professional development.
