Job Summary and Qualifications As a CT Technologist, you will work with our friendly interventional radiologists assisting with various types of biopsies, drain placements, aspirations, injections, cryoablation and microwave ablations. You will be part of a team that values collaboration and patient care. In this role:
You will administer both oral and IV contrast; evaluate patients for any allergic reactions; place correct IV for the exam being performed.
You will load and operate a MedRad power injector.
You will operate and understand CT scanning equipment; practice ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan appropriately.
You will assist interventional radiologists with procedures.
You will maintain a clean work environment and stock the department with supplies and linens.
You will move, lift, and assist patients onto and off the scanner table.
Qualifications you will need
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
Associate Degree
