As a CT Technologist, you will work with interventional radiologists assisting with various types of biopsies, drain placements, aspirations, injections, cryo ablations, and microwave ablations. You will: Administer both oral and IV contrast; evaluate patients for allergic reactions; place correct IV for the exam being performed. Load and operate MedRad power injector. Operate and understand CT scanning equipment; practice ALARA standards; understand physician protocols and scan appropriately. Assist interventional radiologists with procedures. Maintain a clean work environment and stock the department with supplies and linens. Move, lift, and assist patients onto and off the scanner table. Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Registered Radiographer (ARRT) Current ARRT CT certification or registry eligible and must obtain within 6 months of hire Associate Degree Benefits
