About the Job

The University of Minnesota Medical School's Department of Radiology seeks a full-time ABR board-certified/eligible radiologist with a primary interest in pediatric radiology. Academic rank, compensation, and appointment type will depend on qualifications and experience. Candidates must demonstrate teaching ability and scholarly productivity in radiology. Minimum requirements include an MD or equivalent, eligibility for Minnesota medical licensure, board certification or eligibility, and completion of an ACGME-accredited radiology residency. A pediatric radiology fellowship is highly preferred. The role involves working on a busy pediatric imaging service serving inpatients and outpatients, interpreting all imaging modalities, and performing fluoroscopic procedures. Faculty are encouraged to develop special interests such as fetal MRI, cardiac, MSK, or oncology imaging. Interest in IR and neuroradiology is welcome but handled by separate divisions. The department has five full-time pediatric radiology faculty, with coverage for fluoroscopy and diagnostic studies, including remote after-hours work. Faculty participate in teaching and are active in professional organizations, fostering an academic environment for students, residents, and colleagues. Benefits of Working in Our Department
