About the Job

The University of Minnesota Medical School's Department of Radiology seeks one full-time ABR board-certified/eligible radiologist with a primary interest in pediatric radiology. Academic rank, compensation, and appointment type will be based on qualifications and experience. Candidates must have demonstrated ability in teaching and scholarly productivity in one or more radiology specialty areas. Minimum requirements include an MD or equivalent degree, eligibility for medical licensure in Minnesota, board certification or eligibility, and completion of an ACGME-accredited radiology residency. A pediatric radiology fellowship is highly preferred. The role involves significant work on a busy pediatric imaging service serving inpatients and outpatients, interpreting all imaging modalities, and performing fluoroscopic procedures. Faculty are encouraged to develop subspecialty interests. The department currently has five full-time pediatric radiology faculty sharing call coverage. Faculty participate in teaching and are involved in professional organizations. Both academic and clinical promotion tracks are available. Benefits
