Responsibilities
Conduct advanced health assessment and decision‑making, including comprehensive assessment, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing pharmacologic and non‑pharmacologic treatments.
Provide primary health care and/or specialty‑specific care to individuals and families.
Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals across the continuum of care.
Teach, counsel, and monitor patients, making appropriate referrals and performing minor procedures as approved by the AZ Regulatory Board.
Demonstrate leadership through committee involvement, education, research, and performance improvement initiatives.
Maintain professional engagement and community activities.
Qualifications
New graduates not considered.
Family Nurse Practitioner: Masters‑prepared graduate of an accredited nursing school and FNP program; current AZ RN and APRN licenses with FNP certification.
Physician Assistant: Graduate of an accredited PA program with current PA certification by NCCPA and registration by the AZ State Board of Medical Practice.
Active BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
DEA registration required.
Compensation Education, experience, and tenure considered with internal equity.
Employment Details Schedule: Full time, 40‑hour work week (8 hours Monday‑Friday or 10 hours 4 days a week). No weekends. Exempt.
