Full-time Department: District 224 Monro’s family of brands is one of the leading automotive service and tire dealers in the United States. The Lube and Tire Technician, or General Service Tech, is an entry-level position ideal for starting your career. You will undergo comprehensive training from day one, performing maintenance services and working as part of a team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and ensure vehicle safety and reliability. Pay is based on experience, plus incentives where applicable. Responsibilities Keyholder duties such as providing excellent customer service, supervising the shop in the absence of the Store Manager, handling end-of-day paperwork and cash, assisting the store manager, and performing as a hybrid front/back shop team member. Sales experience is preferred. Performing mechanic duties including tire mounting, repair, balancing, and basic automotive maintenance like battery installation. Training will be provided for alignments, brake services, and scheduled maintenance. Compensation : The hourly range is $16 - $17, based on experience, with additional incentives possible. Minimum Qualifications HS diploma or GED Own basic set of mechanic tools or participate in the tool purchase program At least 18 years old Positive attitude and collaborative mindset Ability to work overhead, stand long periods, and lift 50 lbs Preferred Qualifications Automotive technician or tire experience Additional benefits include performance incentives, paid vacation and holidays, reimbursement for ASE certifications and state inspection licenses (where applicable), immediate 401(k) eligibility, direct deposit, employee discounts, healthcare, vision, dental, and employee perks.
